Dear Community Member,

 

I am reaching out to you on behalf of the Summit High School Soccer Program. We are in our first year of establishing a SHS Soccer Scholarship Fund and would like to invite you to be an individual or corporate sponsor for this program.

SHS Soccer Program serves one of the most diverse groups of student athletes in our community. Many of these student athletes have dedicated most of their lives to the love of the game. Whether or not they continue to play while furthering their education, we would like to honor them for their commitment and leadership.

Your support will recognize student athletes and honor them with a Scholarship Award to be used for their continuing education. Recognition creates confidence, reassures them that they are making good decisions, and helps to build leadership skills. It is our hope to inspire these student athletes to strive to not only better themselves on the pitch and in the classroom, but also in the communities that await them.

Scholarship awards will be distributed on Scholarship Night at Summit High School in the spring of 2023. A committee will select the recipients, basing awards decisions on academic and athletic merit, leadership skills on and off the pitch, and financial need. This scholarship is open to all boys’ and girls’ senior soccer players who meet the application criteria.

To recognize your generosity and support, you will be acknowledged with your name or logo on our team website, your name or logo on a banner or poster at home games; and “thank you” announcements during the home matches. This recognition is inclusive of the boys’ and girls’ teams (fall and spring seasons).
